We'll make sure your new boundaries and communication skills become your default way of operating. You'll embody this new version of yourself so completely that the people around you naturally adjust without ongoing conflict or drama.
We’ll map out exactly which people and topics trigger your people pleasing responses and create specific strategies and skills you need to stay calm, centered, and clear when you advocate for you, your partner, and your family.
We unpack the generational guilt trips and cultural expectations that make you feel like the bad guy for having boundaries and let go of the old programming that keeps you second-guessing yourself.
Before coaching with Lena I was feeling very run down... I had been suffering from a lot of self-doubt and worries about my choices and judgement. This made me almost paralyzed and overly fearful.
Lena has a high and adaptive intelligence, a big heart and real integrity. These combine to make coaching not just emotionally safe but quickly productive. Due to Lena's help and positive mirroring, I feel back in touch with my personal power and ready to keep taking on challenges.
My confidence has gone from 30% to about 80% in only a month, which feels more significant than it even sounds!

"Lena, I want to thank you from the absolute depth of my soul for teaching me how to communicate better with myself, with other people, how to approach things that matter to me, how to have conversations that are hard."
"I learned so much from Lena! I'm all about making people feel seen, and I felt like setting boundaries would be hurting the people I love but Lena helped me realize it's actually empowering them."
"If you are looking for someone who can help you navigate the uncomfortable conversations and situations in your relationships, Lena is your go-to."
If we're a good fit, I'll send a payment link and scheduling link. Your first session is on video. After that, calls are audio unless we use video for a specific exercise.
What happens after I submit my application?
I get this question a lot, and some people don't change, but most people do. Especially family might be surprised or resistant. We'll adjust our strategy accordingly.
What if the other person doesn't change?
Coaching and mentorship isn't therapy, and I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. We work together on your mindset and taking effective action.
Is this Like therapy? How is it different?
Like most things in life, there is no guarantee, but there are signs something will work. If you're someone who likes to learn and grow, that's a good sign.
How do I know it will work for me?
I gained a way to defuse a situation without having it to be a huge conflict. Our relationship is better because of it now.
And I was not able to do that before.
It's so nice to not have things blow up and to defuse conflict in a way that allows me to stay close to our family.
Growing up, I was a chronic people pleaser. I thought I’d fixed it once I learned to speak up at work. I had the awards, the titles, and through local government and nonprofit work, I helped shape policy and programs helping millions of people.
But I was still biting my tongue when my family, my husband’s family (with cultural expectations completely unfamiliar to me), and even friends made comments that made my stomach flip.
I had two versions of myself: the confident leader everyone respected professionally, and the woman who avoided conflict in her most important relationships (and was slowly building mountains of resentment because of it).
I also knew that once we started growing our family, every tiny boundary avoidance would become a huge problem. So, I worked on being more clear about my wants, and in that process I developed the Kind Boundaries™ framework.
Most of us learned two ways to handle hard relationships: give in or pull away. I teach a third way: say what you need, kindly and clearly, and stay close to the people who matter.
Before coaching with Lena, I was over-extended; giving everything I had to everyone but me.
Lena saw me for the giver that I am and encouraged me to evaluate where my ‘yes’es and my ‘no’s are. She had me acknowledge responsibilities I’m happy to take on for others vs. the ones I am not happy to take on. It was a tangible approach for something that often doesn’t feel tangible.
In a short period of time, I saw myself choosing me. I started putting myself out there confidently and standing up for myself in ways I never had before.
Lena’s coaching is powerful— if you want to see yourself standing by decisions, creating boundaries, and strengthening healthy relationships you will not be disappointed.
